Een 'momlife' versie van hetzelfde gedicht
In the night, when you cry and all you need is me
In the night
When you cry
And all you need is me
I listen how your crying sounds
And then I wait and see
I listen if it changes
If it goes away
I listen if you sound softer
Because in my bed I’d rather stay
I wonder if there are other moms
Who wait a while as well
I wonder if they just like me
By the type of crying tell
And when you don’t stop
And I cannot escape
I get up out of my bed
And put on my mommy cape
I rescue you from crying
In the middle of the night
It is so dark, that you are all I see
And all I can think of
Is that I really need to pee
